Information, counseling and complaint offices (IBB offices) are contact points for people with mental illnesses and their relatives.

IBB offices provide information and advice on local help and support services. In addition, they provide support and mediation in case of complaints (medical treatment, psychotherapy, psychosocial care, accommodation, … ).

IBB positions employ people with a variety of experiences in the field of psychiatry. This includes family members, experts by experience, patient advocates, and mental health professionals.

The employees of an IBB office work on a voluntary basis, on behalf of the public and are completely independent. The support is free of charge and absolutely confidential (confidentiality).
