We are relatives. We are there for each other.

Relatives are all those who feel close and connected to an affected person and, in addition to blood relatives such as parents or siblings, can also be partners, friends, neighbors or colleagues.

With us, relatives from all over Baden-Württemberg can find concrete help, advice, exchange and information.

We support and inform.

More than half of people with mental illness live with their families and receive temporary or permanent support from their relatives. Family members thus fill a major gap in care in the mental health system.

However, this is not always easy. Without help, many relatives quickly reach their limits. That is why there is the relatives’ self-help – a network of self-help groups and associations that support relatives.
