Doctors and medical facilities will enter your health data in it. You can also object to the creation of the ePA. You can find information about the new electronic patient record here.   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>The most important facts in brief:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The electronic patient file, ePA for short, is the digital health folder for people with statutory health insurance.<\/li>\n<li>It stores health data such as doctor&#8217;s letters, findings, medication plans, laboratory results and X-ray images. However, you can also store documents in it yourself. <\/li>\n<li>The ePA has been developed for use on digital devices. This means that you will always have your health information with you on your smartphone or on your PC or laptop. <\/li>\n<li>Use of the electronic patient file is voluntary. Only you decide who you give access to your electronic patient file.
