[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On July 21, Regio<\/strong> took place in Stuttgart, a conference jointly planned and held by the three Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg state associations of<\/strong> community psychiatry<\/strong>, people with psychiatric experience<\/strong> and relatives of mentally ill people<\/strong>, which this year was dedicated to the topic of suicide prevention<\/strong>: Talking about it can save lives!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The focus was on the expert lecture by Dr. J\u00f6rg Breitmaier, but also on the view of the topic from the three perspectives of an affected person, a family member and a professional consultant. In eight workshops in the afternoon, the participants were able to deal with very different aspects of the topic.<\/p>\n

The event concluded, as always, with a statement from the three associations, this time with a strong appeal to those responsible in politics and society to make suicide prevention a priority health policy task.<\/p>\n
